This series will get to know some of the female idols who are girl crush material. A ‘girl crush’ is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one’s admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc. BLACKPINK’s Lisa opened the series for us followed by MAMAMOO’s HwaSa, TWICE’s JiHyo, ITZY’s RyuJin, Red Velvet’s SeulGi, Jeon SoMi, STAYC’s SuMin, LOONA’s Yves, ChungHa, former Lovelyz member MiJoo, (G)I-DLE’s SoYeon, HyunA, Jessi, and EVERGLOW’s Mia. Readers voted for EXID’s Hani in our weekly poll (at the end of the article) to be featured this week. Let’s get to know our girl crush, Hani! Hani is famous as a member of the iconic K-Pop girl group EXID. The group has not officially disbanded, however, each of the members has taken on new paths and career directions since their last group activities in 2019. In fact, since the group parted ways Hani has been focusing on acting, using her birth name Ahn HeeYeon. Not only is Hani an iconic K-Pop idol but she is starting to make waves on TV and laptop screens too. In 2021, she filmed a number of acting projects including “You Raise Me Up”, “How To Be Thirty”, and “IDOL: The Coup”. We are looking forward to seeing the acting projects that she takes on in the future. Note: This article will refer to Ahn HeeYeon by her idol stage name Hani. Hani is one of the representative idols that comes to mind when someone mentions sexy concepts amongst female K-Pop idols. But she is simultaneously known for being extremely easygoing off-stage. Many people say that her charm is plot-twist-like. You can see her various charms in this vlog.
Hani also gets a lot of praise for her high IQ. She got 900 points on her TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) exam after studying for 2 months. Her IQ is also known to be 145. Hani also ranked first in the Chinese exchange program that she attended. Her members have even called her a genius and she says that she feels restless when she isn’t learning something.
