The drama “Pachinko” tells the story of four generations of Korean immigrant families whose lives have been penetrated by history, telling their hopes and dreams. A hauntingly beautiful and riveting depiction of historical events, fans have found some form of a history lesson from the series. With the stellar acting of the cast, which also features actors across various nationalities, one cast member that invariably stood out was Lee MinHo. Many are used to seeing him as the rich and dolled-eyed character in various dramas like “The Heirs” and “The King: Eternal Monarch” but with Hansu, there is a contrast with the other characters fans are used to seeing him play. His portrayal of this mysterious, complex, intriguing, arrogant, dark individual, who also possesses a glimpse of good qualities which he tries to protect due to the horrors he has seen in the world, some of which he has probably inflicted on others too.
