For those who loved TXT’s ‘Fairy of shampoo’!
The legendary music introduced at KBS’s song-cumentary will be re-released in live versions that capture the real sound. The first artist is Kio (Jang Kiho), Korea’s living legend also known as the member of ‘Light & Salt’ and ‘Love and Peace’. Especially, [Back To The Music Kio] includes ‘Fairy of shampoo’, the best 90’s song that represents Korean City pop. ‘Fairy of shampoo’ was loved by the original version of ‘Light & Salt’ and ‘Love And Peace’, and the remake version by ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER’, ‘Hwasa (from MAMAMOO)’ made it worldwide. The six-track album also includes ‘Mono Oh No No’ of ‘Keeho’s Radio’ (the one-man band that Kio has started at Berklee College of Music), showing the whole history of Kio’s music. This project shows Kio’s musical talent and challenge as a legend.
🔽TXT’s ‘Fairy of shampoo’
Kio wrote the song for TV drama ‘Fairy of shampoo’, and the original track was recorded and performed by Love And Peace (the best K-Funk band in 1980’s) in 1989. After Kio and Park Sungsik(drummer) left the band and formed the new one, they recorded new version of ‘Fairy of shampoo’ in the name of Light&Salt, which became the most famous version of the song.
