1. Meet the members
HanBin Birthday: Jan. 19, 1998 Nationality: Vietnamese You might recognize HanBin as he was a contestant on the survival program “I-LAND”. HyeongSeop Birthday: Aug. 9, 1999 Nationality: Korean You might recognize HyeongSeop from his time as a contestant on “Produce 101 S2”. He was also previously in a duo with fellow TEMPEST member EuiWoong, called HyeongSeop X EuiWoong. BonHyuk Birthday: 2000 (full date not yet known) Nationality: Korean BonHyuk is known to have passed the first round of auditions at major entertainment companies such as FNC Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and BigHit Entertainment. EuiWoong Birthday: Apr. 5, 2001 Nationality: Korean You might have seen EuiWoong as a contestant on the survival show “Produce 101 S2” and in his duo with fellow TEMPEST member HyeongSeop. HwaRang Birthday: Apr. 23, 2001 Nationality: Korean HwaRang was a contestant on the survival show “Under Nineteen”. He was also part of DSP Media and trained alongside the members of MIRAE. EunChan Birthday: 2001 (full date not yet known) Nationality: Korean EunChan attended the famous Hanlim Multi Arts School that many K-Pop idols such as ASTRO’s Cha EunWoo, SHINee’s TaeMin, and more have attended. TaeRae Birthday: 2002 (full date not yet known) Nationality: Korean TaeRae was famous for being handsome in school. Some netizens believe that he looks like Stray Kids’ Lee Know. Do you see the resemblance?
2. Each member has a keyword
The members of TEMPEST each have a keyword. As of Jan.19, 2022 (15:40 KST), only two of the members have had their keywords shown in their debut trailers. HwaRang’s keyword is FREEDOM and EunChan’s keyword is CLASSIC. You can watch HwaRang and EunChan’s introductory debut trailers here.
However, the other members’ keywords are known to be CHALLENGE (HanBin), PASSION (HyeongSeop), POSSIBILITY (BonHyuk), PRESENT (EuiWoong), and HAPPINESS (TaeRae).
3. TEMPEST are performance kings
TEMPEST has covered a number of K-Pop and Western songs and uploaded performance videos on their YouTube channel. Each performance is as powerful as the next.
