Tokyo Dome is one of the biggest dome in Japan which is able to hold about 50,000 fans! Most of the time K-Pop groups who are capable of holding concert in the Tokyo Dome are the top idol groups. It came to the notice of some fans that up till now there are 11 different K-Pop groups who had sold out every single ticket available in the Tokyo Dome. This list is not in a particular order. 1. BTS
BTS managed to fill the Tokyo Dome with their fans previously on Nov. 13 & 14, 2018, during their world tour “Love Yourself”. They had also said earlier that they wanted to become singers who would be able to stand on the stage of Tokyo Dome. Congratulations to them as their dream had come true!
2. TVXQ
No one is able to deny the popularity of TVXQ as they are considered one of the longest standing K-Pop idols who have been constantly filling the dome with their fans. 2012 marked the year where they first held their concert in the Tokyo Dome.
3. TWICE
TWICE has been making records as they have been able to have sell out concerts in Tokyo Dome more than once. They were able to sold out tickets to the Tokyo Dome leg of “TWICE Dome Tour #Dreamday” in 2019 and “Twice 4th World Tour III” in 2022.
4. Girls’ Generation
Of course, we are definitely not forgetting the legendary girl group, Girls’ Generation. Since 2014, the girls have been also holding concerts in the Tokyo Dome consistently, bringing joy and happiness to their fans with their trendy and lovely songs.
5. BIGBANG
Another K-Pop group that had dominated Japan is none other than BIGBANG. BIGBANG also first opened their concert in Tokyo Dome back in Dec, 2012, selling out the tickets completely.
6. EXO
We also have boy group, EXO! According to media outlet, Insight, EXO is the fastest boy group to hold a solo concert in Tokyo Dome after their debut! Needless to say, they had also sold out every single ticket!
5. SHINee
SHINee has been filling up the Tokyo Dome ever since they started holding concerts there. With the amazing popularity especially in Japan, it is no wonder why they had their concerts sold out so fast!
8. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK’s popularity is no joke as they are the only few female K-Pop groups who are capable of selling out their concert in Tokyo Dome. Some fans also suggested playing ‘How You Like That’ for such amazing achievements.
9. SUPER JUNIOR
Who can forget about the legendary K-Pop group? Super Junior is also one of the groups who have huge popularity overseas. Their long running popularity is so amazing that many are calling them the longevity K-Pop idols.
10. KARA
When KARA was still active as a group, they had also sold out their concert in Tokyo Dome. Their popularity is no joke and their fans love to sing along with their hit songs.
11. 2PM
2PM was known to be the first boy group from JYP Entertainment to perform in Tokyo Dome and of course, sold out in both concerts in 2013.
12. NCT 127
NCT 127 was able to sold out their tickets for the 2-day Tokyo Dome leg of their very first dome tour in Japan. This is indeed a big success for the unit-group.
